A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FORA PUBLIC HEARING TO
CONSIDER A PETITION TO VACATE A Z0-FOOT STREET RIGHT-
OF-WAY WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF LOVELL AVENUE AND
WALLACE WAY IN THE CITY OF WINSLOW.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing shall be .held on the petition of Bowen
Development Company to vacate a 20-foot street right-of-way west of the
intersection of Lovell Avenue and Wallace Way in the City of Winslow,
described as follows:
Parcel "A"
The south 20.00 feet of the following described real property:
The west 159.15 feet of the following described property:
That portion of the south-half of the southeast-quarter of the
northwest-quarter of the northeast-quarter, Section 27, Township 25 N,
Range 2 E, W.M., described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner
of said subdivision; thence S O1°05'15"W along the easterly limits of
said subdivision, a distance of 186.00 feet;. thence N 87°5.4'37"W a
distance of 20.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing
N 87°54'37"W a distance of 270.00 feet; thence S O1°05'15"W a distance
of 145.67 feet, to a point on the southerly limits of said subdivision;
thence S 87°55'34"E along said southerly limits, a distance of 270.00
feet to a point on a line 20.00 feet westerly of and parallel with the
easterly limits of said subdivision; thence N O1°05'15"E along said
parallel line 145.59 feet to the true point of beginning;
Containing 20,000 square feet, more or less.
Situate in the City of Winslow, Kitsap County, Washington,
Parcel "B"
The south 20.00 feet of the following described. real property:
That portion of the south-half of the southeast-quarter of the
northwest quarter of the northeast-quarter, Section 27, Township 25 N,
Range 2 E. W.M., described as follows>: Beginning at the northeast corner
of said subdivision; thence S 01°0:5'15"W along, the easterly limits of
said subdivision, a distance of 186.00 feet; thence N 87°54'37"W a
distance of 20.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing
N 87°54'3T''W a distance of 270.00 .feet..; thence S O1°05'15"W a distance
of 145.67 feet, to a point on the southerly limits of said subdivision;
thence S 87°55'34" E along said southerly limits, a distance of 270.00
feet to a point on a line 20.00 feet westerly of and parallel with the
easterly limits of said subdivision; thence N O1°05'15"E along said
parallel line 145.59 feet to the true point of beginning; EXCEPT the
west 159.15 feet thereof; AND EXCEPT the east 5.00 feet thereof for city
street.
Containing 13,296.85 square feet, more or less.
Situate in the City of Winslow, Kitsap County Washington,
on March 1, 1990, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be
heard by the City Council, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 625 Winslow Way
East, Winslow, Washington.
Section 2. Notice of the public hearing shall be posted at least 20 days
:prior to the hearing in the manner provided by law.
Section 3. The matter is referred to the Land Use Department for
investigation and report., as necessary, at the public hearing.
