A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
HONORING ALICE B. TAWRESEY FOR HER APPOINTMENT TO
THE WASHINGTON STATE TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Alice B. Tawresey has given much time and
energy in pursuit of solutions to transportation problems
present in Kitsap County; and
WHEREAS, Alice B. Tawresey was a member of the Ferry
Riders Coalition and served as Chair of the West Corridor
study for the Puget Sound Council of Governments; and
WHEREAS, Alice B. Tawresey was one of the founders of
Kitsap Transit; and
WHEREAS, Alice B. Tawresey has been appointed by
Governor Booth Gardner to serve on the Washington State
Transportation Committee; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Winslow, Washington, as follows:
Section 1. The City of Winslow appreciates the
dedication and public service demonstrated by Alice B.
Tawresey.
Section 2. The City of Winslow honors Alice B.
Tawresey and wishes her great success with her appointment to
the Washington State Transportation Commission.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW,
Washington, this 18th day of October 1990.
