BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Winslow,
Washington:
WHEREAS, Sue to weather conaitions th~ coul~ not reason-
ably have been forseen at the time of making the estimate require~
by the Statutes of the State of Washington in preparing the last
budget for the Town of Winslow, an~ to properly care for streets,
roads, and fills, the repair and bullSing of which was made neces-
sary by an unusual winter season, g~eater expenditures t~a_~_ proviaed
in the budget have become and are necessary to the _~,tent of Three
Thousand and no/lO0 Dollars ($3,000.00) for maintenance and One
sand and no/lO0 Dollars ($1,000.00) for equipm-_~t, nanely a truck; and
WHEREAS it is necessary to make provision for the funds by
the issuing of emergency warrants and/or borrowing from other depart-
ments of the Town budget having sufficient funds on hand, now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED that the Council take such
steps as are necessary to provide funds in the sum of Four Thousan~
and no/lO0 Dollars ($4,000.00) for the purposes hereinbefore outlined.
THIS ACT is necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, health, and safety, the support of the Tom Govex~nment
and its existing public institutions, and s~811 take effect immediatel~
