STANDARDS (1979 EDITION), UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE (1979
EDITION), UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE (1979 EDITION), UNIFORM
FIRE CODE ( 1979 EDITION), UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT
OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS (1979 EDITION) AND REGULATIONS FOR
BARRIER FREE FACILITIES AS PUBLISHED BY THE WASHINGTON
STATE BUILDING CODE ADVISORY COUNCIL ON OCTOBER 1, 1976,
THERMAL EFFICIENCY STANDARDS, PURSUANT TO H. B. 98 (RCW 19.27)
AS PUBLISHED BY THE WASHINGTON STATE ENERGY OFFICE, AMENDING
SAID CODES AND ESTABLISHING FEES FOR INSPECTION AND ESTABLISH-
ING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE
80-21, SETTING FORTH CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF ABS OR PVC
IN DWV INSTALLATIONS.
The City Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as follows:
Section 1: Section B of Ordinance 80-21 is amended as follows:
B 0 Materials.
Section 401 (a) 2 and 503 (a) 2 of the UPC
(1979 Edition) is deemed amended to read as
follows:
ABS OR PUC, DWV (Drain Waste and Vent)
installations shall be limited to combustible
construction provided it meets the requirements
of Chapter 43 of the UBC for domestic sewage as
define-: in the UPC.
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Council of the City of Winslow
