AN ORDINANCE Providing for the consolidation of the
Offices of Town Clerk and Town Treasurer:
B~ IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of
Winslow, under and by virtue of the provisions of Chapter
Laws of 1945 of the State of Waahingt~-, as follows:
Section 1. ~ndmnt to Town of Winslow Ordinance
No. 8. That pertion of Town of Winslow Ordinance No. 8 cover-
ing the offices of Town Treasurer and Town Clerk is hereby can-
eelled and superseded by the following, but in no way al~ers,
effects or conflicts with the remaining provisions of sai~
Ordinance No. 8.
Section E. Consolidation of Offices. The office of
Town Treasurer shall be combined with that of To~u Clerk on the
~ete hereinafter set forth, and the office shall thereafter be
termed Town Clerk/Treasurer, thereby abolishing ~he office of
Town Treasurer as a separate and distinctive office.
Section 5. Salary. The salary of the office of Town
Clerk/Treasurer shall be established at $1R5.00 per month.
Section 4. Effective De~e. The office of Town Clerk/
Treasurer shall become operative three (~) months from the
effective date of this Ordinance, namely the 1st day of 0orebar,
195 ~-.
