BE IT ORDAIE by the Town Council of the Town of Winslow.
Washir~ton:
Section l: That a To~m election for the Town of Winslow shall
be held on the second Tuesday of ~arch, 1953-
Section 2: That s~id election s_hall be open to voters from
eight olclock in the morning until eight oeclock in the evening.
Section 3: Said election shall be held at the Town Hall in
Winslow, Washington.
Section 4: The Board of Election shall 'consist of one inspector
_~_~d two judges and shall be appointed by the Town Council at its first
regular meetin~ in Februar~,, 1953-
Section 5: All elective candidates for municipal office for
the Town of Winslow, Washington shsll be first nominated by caucus as
hereinafter provided.
Section 6~:_ A caucus shall consist of an organized group of
qualified electors of the Town of Winslow, Washington, not less than 25
in number, espousing a political party or principle.
Section 7: Such political psrty or principle as referred to in
Section 6 shall be expressed in not over five words in length.
Section 8: Notice of the meetin~ of any caucus at which
candidates of any election shall be chosen shall be given by the presid-
ing officer of such cs. ucus to the Town Clerk, who will publish the same
as by law provided, at least ten days prior to the date fixed for the
holding of such caucus. Notice shall contain the time and place desi~nate~
by s~ch presidi~g officer. The caucuses provided for in this Ordinance
must be held on or before January 15, 1953.
Section 9: The names of the candidates nominated at such
meetin~ of a caucus shall be duly certified by the presiding officer
thereof to the Town Clerk within five days following the holding of such
caucus, and said certificate shall cornrain the name of the candidate,
his residence address, his business, the office for which he is nominated,
and shall be signed by not less than 25 voters residing in the Town of

sbll b~ve been passed by the T~n Coucil and signed by the ~yor.
