ORD 53-21 SALARY OF STREET SUPERINTENDENT AMDTORDINANCE NO. 21
~ ANENI~ TO ORDINANCE NO. 21 establishing the salary of the
Street Superintendent.
W~AS, Ordinance No. 21 establishes the salary for officers
and employees of the Town of Winslew, and
WNFAREAS, it is considered in the best interests of the Town
to increase the salary of its Street Superintendent;
1YOW, TH~E~ORE, BE IT ORDAXN~D by the Council of the Town of
Winslow, Washington, as follows:
That Ordinance No. 21 be changed to establish the salary of
the Street Superintendent at $275.00 per month.
That such change be rode retroactive to August 1, 1953.
PASSED by the Council of the Town of Winslew, Washington, an&
approved by its Mayor this 1st day of September, 1953.

That Section 6 or Ordinance No. 21 be cancelled and reinstated
to read as follows:
All employees, both full time and part time, of the Town, shall
be subject to the Federal Social Security coverage as provided by a
Federal-State agreemeat, and in particular to a contract between the
State and the Town. All employees of the T~wn shall be subject to the
WiShHOlding provisions of the Act and the Town shall be subject to the
pa~ent of its proportionate *h~_re as provided in %he Act. ~xception to
the above shall be %he Town Attorney who under provisions of the State of
Washington laws applicable to Fourth Class Tewns is on a fee basis ~ith
monthly retainer.
