AN ~RGE},vCY 0RDI~AI~TCE establishing the office of Clerk/Treasurer
as a full time position, naming the salary therefor, and provid-
ing funds not previousl~,~ budgeted for payment thereof.
WEREAS, the duties and responsibilities of the office of Clerk/
Tre~surer h~ve :mterially increesed during the past year, and
WHERFaS, the vslue and possibilities of this office in serving
the interests of the To,~.m end its citizens have been proven, and
WHEREAS, the scope of work as handled by the office during the
last six months cannot be ~ccomplished on a cart time b~sis;

Winslow, Washing'ton, as follows:
Th~.t the office of Clerk/Treasurer is hereby established as a
full time position.
That the salary for said position shall be $27~.00 per month.
Thst the funds necesssry for payment thereof during the year
195~ not previously provided b.~r budget, r~mely, $900.00, shall be made
available from the Current Exp~ense ~und by reduction in like amount in
the budgeted items for stenographic requirements and special attorney
fees.
That the i~rovisions of this Ordinance shall be retroactive to
January l, 1954.
PAS~D by the Council of the' Town of Winslow, Washington, and
approved by its Mayor at a regular meeting held on February L, 1954.
