Section 3: The Town COuncil may refer to the Planning Commis-
sion, for its recommendation and report, any ordinance, resolution or
other proposal relating to sn,~r of the matters and subjects referred to
in said Chapter 35.63 R.C.W., and the Com~dssion shall promptly report
to tke Council thereon, ~king such reconnmendations and givi~ such counsel
as it m~y deem proper in the premises.
Section 4: All ~?lat~ or plans of subdivisions of land within
the town or pro-~osed additions, ~s well as dedications of streets and
alleys, offered to the Town Council for acceptance shall first ]se sub-
mitted to the Plannin~ Comnission for its recommendation and report,
which report shall be ms. de to the Council within thirty (30) days after
submission, or at such earlier 8~te ss the Counci~ shall direct.
Section 5: The Planning Con~ission may designate one of its
members' to sct as secretary ~,'ithout salary, or if requested by the
Con~wlssien the i,Layor shall designs.te a member of the paid staff of the
Town to serve as such secretaryl~, who shall. serve without additional com-
pens~.tion.
Section 6: A majority of the membership of the Planning Commis-
sion s~all constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. ~.~y
action tsken by a :rajority of those present when those present constitute
a quorum, at any regular or special meeting of the Planning Co~n.nission
shall be deemed and taksn as the action of the Comndssion.
Section 7: The Planning Con~nission, at or before its first
regular raeeting in Febru~ry of es, ch year, shall ~ake a full report in
~riti~jf to the Town Council of its transactions and e~enditures, if any,
for the preceding ~e,'~r, ~'ith such general recoamendations as to matters
covered by its ]prescribed ~uties an~ sluthorit.~ as m~.y to it seem proper.
