ORD 54-35 ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIESORDINANCE
A N O R D I N A N C E approving petition and ordering annexa-
tion to the Town of Winslow of certain properties contiguous thereto.
W H E R E A S, the petition of Alice S. Bechtel, a widow, the
record owner of the properties hereinafter described, was filed with
the Town Council of the Town of Winslow in accordance with the laws
of the State of Washington, asking that said properties be annexed to
the Town of Winslow, and,
WHEREAS, the said petition was, by resolution, entertained
by the Town Council, and in accordance with the laws of the State of
Washington, a date and place of hearing were designated, and,
WHEREAS, the Town Clerk caused notices of the date and
time and place of said hearing to be ch,ly and regnlarly published and
posted as required by law, and,
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on September Z2, 1953, at
the Town Hall in the Town of Winslow in accordance with said noticel,
and at said time and place no one appeared in opposition to said petition,
the matter being referred for further study of the stipulations contained
in said petition,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of
the Town of Winslow that the following described lands, to:wit:
Parcel One: The East one-half of the East one-half of the
Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter,
except the North twenty feet for road, in Sec-
tion 26, Township 25 North, range 2 east, W.M.,
Kitsap County, Washington, and
Parcel Two: The West 990 feet of the South one-half of the
Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section Z6, Township 25 North, range Z east,
W.M., Kitsap County, Washington,

be and they are in accordance with the petition herein filed hereby
annexed to the Town of Winslow as of the date of this ordinance.
Passed by the Town Council and approved by the Mayor of the
Town of Winslow this~7~' day of ~L~ , 1954.
