ORD 55-44 ESTABLISHING STREET, CURB AND SIDEWALK GRADES AN ORDINANCE establishing street, curb and sidewalk grades and storm sewer locations along Winslow Way between Nadison Avenue and the east boundary of Government Lot 4, 26-25-2 in the Town of Winslow, Washington. WHEREAS, it is deemed for the best interests of its citizens and the future development of the Town that grades and restrictions be estab- lished governing street, curb and sidewalk construction and provide for construction of storm sewers aloD~ Winslow Way; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 0RDAINED by the Council of the Town of Winslow, WashiD~ton, as follows: That street grade, curb location and sidewalk grade and restric- tions be and they are hereby established along Winslow Way between Madison Avenue and the east boundary of Government Lot 4, 26-25-2 as follows: 1. The street grade shall be in accordance with profile nap prepared by Parker & Hill, consulting engineers, numbered Job 2969, which by this reference becomes a part of this Ordinance and shall be known as Exhibit "A". 2. The surfaced street shall have a drainage of I inch per 5 feet from the crown to curb line. 3. Property reference line is established as the north line of Government Lot 4, 26-25-2 in accordance with Building Location map prepared by Olin M. Sprague, registered engineer, and which by this reference be- comes aps. rt of this Ordinance aixd shall be known as Exhibit 4. The curb lines along Winslow Way between the east and west boundaries established above shall be on the north side of Winslow Way 20 feet north of the property reference line and on the south side of Winslow Way 40 feet south of the property reference line. 5- The curb height shall be 7 inches above the street surface at the curb line. 6. Sidewalks shall conform to the grade of the street, have a minimum width of 5 feet, and provide 1/2 inch per foot drainage from the property line to the top of the curb. 7. Storm sewer drainage lines shall be of not less than 12- inch concrete tile, or other n~terial specifically approved by the Council~s Street Committee, and shall be located en the street side of each curb 8md adjscent thereto. Grade and depth of storm sewers shall be subject to approval of the Tob~n Er~ineer before inst~.llation. 8. Copies of the maps referred to herein as Enchibit "A" and Exhibit "B" may be viewed at the office of the Town Clerk and prints ob- tained when desired on payment of a fee of 50~ each.
