the issus. nce of permits and collection of fees therefore; providing
for the ~dontion as the Building Code or Ordinance of the To~m of
~!linslow of the Uniform Building Code (1958 edition) of the Pacifi~
~ Building Officials OUa.f.~;u~e; declaring and establishing
Fire Districts; providing for the violation thereof, and repealing
s. 13_ ordinances s. nd parts of ordinances in conflict therewith.
E IT O~RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TO~N OF '~JINSLO~'~ AS
FOLLO~'~S:
Section 1. That the 1958 Edition of the Uniform Building
Code as prepared by the International Conference of Building Officials,
c~her~.~lse known as the 1958 Edition of the Uniform Building Code,
together with all subsequent editions or amendments of said code,
and relating to the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration,
repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment,
use, height, area and maintenance of buildings or structures in the
Town of Winslo~, is hereby adopted as the building code or ordinance
cf the Town of ~'~Inslow (there being three (3) copies or ordinance of
the said building code on file with the Town Clerk of the To~n of
Winslow) e. nd such code by reference is hereby made a part of this
Ordinance as though fully set forth herewith, and the several provi-
sions of said code, as now in effect, and all amendments thereto and
sub-editions thereto and printed and filed with the Tov~n Clerk of the
Town of ~inslo~~ shall be_, considered and accepted as amendments and
~Idditions to said code without the necessity of further adoption of
such e~mend~ents or additions by the Town of Winslow.
Section 2. Any person violating or failing to comply with
any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof,
be fined in a sum not exceeding One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or
imorisonment for a term not exceeding Thirty (30) days, or by both
such fine and imprisonment.
