A~N E~,ERGENCY ORD1]qANCE declaring an emergency
and authorizing expenditures and funds to provide
therefore.
WHEREA~, expenditures from the Street Fund and Water Fund
will not exceed that authorized by the 1960 Budget, and
WHEP~AS, receipts and income to these two funds did not total
the am. ount anticipated at the time the 1960 Budget was enacted, and
W~EREAS, this emergency resulted from conditions which could
not be reasonably anticipated at the time of establishing the 1960
budget:
NOW ~REFORE, E IT ORDAI~.~D by the Council of the To~m of
Winslow, Washington:
That an emergency exists:
That the authorized and approved expenditures shall be paid,
That the sum of $1,%00.00 be transferred from the Current Expense
Fund to the Street Fund on a loan basis,
That the sum of $ ~00.00 be transferred from the Water Bond
Redemption Fund to the Water Fund on a loan basis,
That repayment of these respective loans shall be provided for
in the next budget prepared in the year 1961.
