RES 52-06 OCCUPANCY OF SPACE AT FERRY BUILDING A RESOLUTION of the Town Council of the Town of Winslow,
Washington, providing for the occupancy of space in the Ferry Term-
inal Bufldir~g as a Town Eall:
~R~A~S, the development of the Town water distribution
system makes i~ expedient that the Town Hall obtain quarters on the
street level and at a location convenient for the citizens. of the
Town, and
WHEREAS, f~ture plax~uing requires additional floor space
for the Town Hall,
W~R~AS, it is desired to provide a Oou~cil chamber of
size and location to stimulate the attendance of the citizens at
Council meetings,
NOW, THEIrORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tom Council of the
Town of Winslow, Washington, as follows:
That the space available at the Ferry Terminal Building
and known as office space No. 1, situated at the south side of the
Terminal Building on the gronnd level be occupied by the Town com-
mencing November 1, 1952, and
That the lease on the premises as submitted by the Wash-
ington State Ferries be accepted and executed by the Mayor for the
Town.
PASSE by the Council of the Town of Winslow, Washington
and approved by its Mayor this ~ day of October, 1952.
