RES 53-16 PURCHASE OF LAND FOR STEEL RESERVOIR A R~S0t~ION of the Town Council of the Town of Winslow,
Washington, authorizing purchase of land for the stool reservoir
site and acceptance of right of way for street purposes.
W~S, the lngineerss design of the Towors water system
designates the site for the 150,000 gallon steel reservoir, swd
W~.A-~, the proper~y owner has offered to sell to the To-~ a
50 foot by 150 foot plot at said site, and
WXne~.AS, the property owner has offered to do~ate _~_nd convey te
the Town a 20 foot strip of land for roadway purposes to provide for the
east and west extension of the street between North Madison R~ad, lrickson
Street and the proposed 2tats Highway, and
W~n~_As, the property ownerrs offer contemplates that the Council
will designate the street in q~xestion by the r~__me of ~nechtel;
NOW, TH~R~0P~, B~. IT P~ESOL~D by the Town Council of the Town
of Winslow, as follows:
T~t the Town accept the offer of C. H. Enochtel and wife and
purchase at a price of $150.00 the 50 foot by 150 foot plot of land as
described by meets And bounds in WarraCy Deed dated March 20, 1953, and
that payment therefore be made from the Water Construction Fund.
That the Town accept without further payment to C. H. wneohtel
and wife the south 20 feet of the N.:. ~uarter of the S.W. quarter of the
N.W. Q~ax~er of Section 26, Township 25 North, ~ange 2 ~ast, W.Mo, for
roadway purposes as conveyed to the towu by Warrn-ty Deed dated March
1953 before mentioned.
That said street when opened be ~med F~,xechtel Avenue.
