AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE DECLARING AN EMERGENCY ~ND AUTHC~IZI~S

WHERFAS, it is considered in the bost interests* of the citizens of
Winsl~w to augment the present police coverage for lax enforcement, and
WHEREAS, suitable and experience~ personnel is said to be available
to the Town at an increased expen&iture of $50.00 per mont~;
NOW THEEEFO~E, ~ IT ORDAINED by the Council ef the Town of Winslew,
Washington,
That an emergency exists,
That the Mayor is authorized to negotiate for a~ditional law
enforcemeat personnel,
That the sum of $50.00 per month for the balance of the calenda~
year be made available for this purpose,
That an emergency appropriation is hereby enacted to provide $200.00
from Current Expense funds not otherwise appropriated for salary of a
deputy marshall for the remaining period of the present calendar year.
