RES 84-19 VACATION ON WALLACE WAYJEH:clh 6/26/84 RESOLUTION NO. 84-19 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF CERTAIN PUB- LIC RIGHT OF WAY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS COMMONLY KNOWN AS A PORTION OF WALLACE WAY NORTHEAST. heard on nor more Resolution. WHEREAS, owners of abutting property have asked the City to vacate certain portions of publicly owned right of way within the City limits, commonly known as a portion of Wallace Way North- east and more particularly described as Parcel B on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth, and WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 35.79.010, it is necessary that the City Council establish the date for a public hearing on said vacation by resolution, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. A public hearing upon the proposed vacation of a portion of certain public right of way within the City limits of the City of Winslow, commonly known as a portion of Wallace Way Northeast, and more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth, shall be held in the Council Chambers of the Winslow City Hall at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be October A , 1984, which is not less than twenty (20) than sixty (60) days after the passage of this Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to give twenty (20) days notice of the pendency of the hearing on the pro- posed vacation by a written notice posted at the three places at which ordinances are posted for publication by the City, by posting a like notice in a conspicuous place on that portion of Wallace Way Northeast sought to be vacated, and by mailing at least fifteen (15) days before the date fixed for the hearing, a similar notice to the owners or reputed owners of all lots, tract~ or parcels of land or other property abutting upon that portion of Wallace Way Northeast sought to be vacated, as shown on the rolls of the County Treasurer, directed to the address thereon shown.
