RES 87-14 EMPLOYEE HEALTH CARE BENEFITS RESOLUTION NO. 87-14 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW DEFINING THE CITY'S POLICY REGARDING EMPLOYEE HEALTH CARE BENEFITS. WHEREAS, the City of Winslow currently pays for health care insurance for full time employees and their dependents; and WHEREAS, at the present time the only health care program made available to full time City employees is Kitsap Physicians Service Plan A through Association of Washington Cities Employees Benefit Trust; and WHEREAS, the City desires to make additional programs available to full time City employees; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Winslow, Washington, as follows: i) The City of Winslow desires to continue to pay the monthly premium amount for health care insurance for full time employees and their dependents at the Washington Physicians Service Plan A rate. 2) The City of Winslow will allow employees to choose one of the following health care programs: A) Washington Physicians Service Plan A B) Health Plus C) Group Health 3) Employees may select a health care plan only during the month of April, 1987, and again each January beginning in 1988. 4) If an employee selects Program B or C above, the City of Winslow will continue to pay a monthly premium amount equal to the Plan A premium. 5) If Program B or C monthly premium is less than Plan A premium, the City will pay to AWC the amount of the premium for Program B or C. 6) If Program B or C monthly premium is more than Plan A premium, the City will deduct from the employee's gross pay, an amount equal to the difference between the Program B or C monthly premium and the Plan A monthly premium.
