RES 87-17 PERSONNEL POLICY AMENDING POLICY MANUALRESOLUTION N0.87_]7 A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE CITY OF WINSLOW PERSONNEL POLICY AS TO HOW SICK LEAVE, VACATION, AND HOLIDAY TIME IS COUNTED WHEN DETERMINING REGULAR AND OVER- TIME HOURS, AND TO AMEND THE PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Winslow has determined it to be in the public interest to adopt a clearer policy for its employees in determining regular and overtime computations, and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the city personnel policies to provide for such changes, and WHEREAS, the federal and state laws permit the adoption of such changes, NOW~ THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Winslow, Washington, as follows: In Personnel Manual, Article IV: Compensation and Benefits, in Section 1 C and in Section 6, a new subsection D, the following words are added: Sick leave, vacation and holiday time will be counted when determining the number of hours worked in a work we~k or for a work period, for the purpose of calculating overtime.
