RES 87-30 USE OF PUBLIC BUILDINGSRESOLUTION NO. 87- 30
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE USE OF
PUBLIC BUILDINGS AND PUBLIC FACILITIES FOR NON-
PUBLIC USES.
WHEREAS, applications are submitted to the City by various
non-public users from.time to time for the use of public buildings
and facilities, and
WHEREAS, the Winslow City Council has determined that due
to their nature, such uses on a case by case basis are warranted and
previous resolution 70-1 on this subject is herewith supplemented,
and
WHEREAS, the Winslow City Council considers such uses to
be in the public interest under certain circumstances,
THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Non-publiC. use of public buildings and'public,
facilities shall be permitted for non-partisan, not-for-profit
users, provided same do not conflict with their public use.
Section 2. Non-public use of public buildings and public
facilities shall be permitted for profit-making users, provided same
do not conflict with their public use, are approved in advance by
city council on a case-by-case basis, and provide for adequate
protection to the city from any liability arising from such use.
