RES 89-06 HOSPICE PATIENTS WHO DIED DURING 1988RESOLUTION NO. 89~M]' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW RECOGNIZING MARCH 11, 1989 AS A DAY OF REMEMBERANCE OF THE HOSPICE PATIENTS WHO DIED DURING 1988, AND COMMENDING HOSPICE OF KITSAP COUNTY FOR THEIR WORK. WHEREAS, on March 11, 1989 a memorial service was held in memory of Hospice patients who have died in the last year; and WHEREAS, each and every name of deceased Hospice' patients was read; and WHEREAS, there remains a great national need to increase public awareness of the benefits of Hospice care; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Winslow resolves as follows: 1. Officially recognizes March 11, 1989 as a day to remember the competent and compassionate care provided to terminally ill patients. 2. Officially commends Hospice volunteers for their efforts.
