RES 89-09 COMMENDING BAINBRIDGE ISLAND GARDEN CLUB RESOLUTION NO. 89~09
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
COMMENDING THE BAINBRIDGE ISLAND GARDEN CLUB.
WHEREAS, the Bainbridge Island Garden Club in the
fall of 1988, planted daffodils along Highway 305, just north
of Winslow Way, and
WHEREAS, the daffodils have bloomed in the spring of
1989, and provide a colorful and attractive display for all
to enjoy, and
WHEREAS, the ground is hard and the planting of
daffodils is time consuming; now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW resolves as
follows:
- The Bainbridge Island Garden Club is to be
commended for the time, effort, energy and
resources invested in planting daffodils in the
City of Winslow.
- The City of Winslow appreciates the Garden Club's
contribution.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Winslow,
Washington, this 4th day of Mmy , 1989.
