RES 89-15 DOROTHY NYSTROM RESOLUTION NO. 89-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
HONORING DOROTHY HYSTROM FOR HER COMMUNITY
INVOLVEMENT.
WHEREAS, Dorothy Nystrom contributed to the beauty,
culture, and sense of history; and
WHEREAS, Dorothy Nystrom provided the leadership
required to accomplish:
- the tree planting and beautification on Winslow
Way.
- the shadow box museum and display of historical
photographs.
- the placement of a historical marker on the Lincoln
School site.
WHEREAS, Dorothy Nystrom's passing on has reminded
the city of her many contributions; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, resolve as follows:
- The City of Winslow appreciates the many ways in
which Dorothy Nystrom contributed to the City of
Winslow.
- The City of Winslow asks Wilbur, her husband, to
accept this posthumous recognition in honor of
Dorothy Nystrom.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW,
