RES 99-23 PARKING FEESRESOLUTION No. 99-23 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON RELATING TO THE IMPOSITION OF CHARGES BY THE CITY FOR PARKING; AND AMENDING SECTION 5 OF THE BArNBRIDGE ISLAND FEE SCHEDULE. WHEREAS, in 1986 the City Cotmcil passed Ordinance 86-20, which restructured the fees charged by the City for parking; and WHEREAS, the fee for parking were last changed ea~ier this year by Resolution 99-08, at which time the City Council referred the issue of the days on which parking fees should be charged to its Finance and Personnel Committee; and " WHEREAS, the City Council's Finance and Personnel Committee has determined that it is appropriate to charge for parking on weekends and holidays as well as on weekdays, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. If Initiative 695 is approved by the voters, Section 5 of the Bainbridge Island Fee Schedule is amended to read as follows: 5, PARKING BRIEN & B jUNE (Monthly) (Resolution 99-08) $70.00 BRIEN & BJUNE (Daily) (Resolution 95-28. Parking limited to four (4) hours.) No charge CARPOOL (Bi-Monthly) (Resolution 97-41. Applicants are required to fill out an application.) $160.00 CIVIC CENTER (Resolution 99-08) Monthly Daily $80.00 $6.25 FERRY PARKING (Daily) (Resolution 99-08) $6.25 Daily parking rates shall be in effect from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM, on all days including weekends and holidays. SECTION 2. If initiative 695 is rejected by the voters, Section 5 of the Bainbridge Island Fee Schedule is amended to read as follows: 5, PARKING BRIEN & B jUNE (Monthly) (Resolution 99-08) $60.00 BRIEN & BJUNE (Daily) (Resolution 95-28.
