ORD 65-05 PETITION AND ORDERING ANNEXATIONAN CRDINANCE APPROVIRB PETITION AND 0RRERING ANNEXATION
TO THE TOWN OF WINSLO~ OF CERTAIN PROPERTM CONTIGUOUS
THEREOF.
WHERFAS, a petition hearing the signatures of property owners' representing
75% in assessed valuation of t~e ~roperty herein described, was filed with
the Town Council of the Town of Winslow, in accordance with the la~s of the
Sta~e of Washington, asking that said p~opertiee be annexed to the Town of
Winslow, and
WHEREA~, the said petition was, by resolution, entertained by the Town
Council, and in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, a date
and place of hearing was designated, and
WHERFAS, the Tuw. Clerk caused notices of the date and time and place of said
hearing to he duly and regularly published and posted as required by law, and,
WHEREA~, a hearing was held on July 6, 1965, at the Town Hall in the Town of
Win~l~w in accordance with said notices, and at said time and place no one
appeared in opposition to said petition, and
WHEREA~, The Review Board, as provided under R.C.W. 35.13.171, agreed te
dispense with the review and granted favorable action on the petition,
N6W THEREFO~ BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Winslow,
that the fellowing described lands, to wit:
Lot~ 1 to 8, inclusive, of the plat of '~ing Point Country Club",
recorded in Volume 10 of plats, page 49; lots 1 to 13, inclusive,
and 27 to 36, inclusive, of the plat of '~adrono Park Heights",
recorded in Volume 3 of plats, page 59; lots 1 to 4, inclusive, of
the plat of '~adrono Subdivision" recorded in Volume 4 of plats,
Page 86; that part of lots 15 and 18 of the plat of "Madrono Park~
recorded in Volume 1 of plats, page 49, lyi~ Westerly of Fairview
Avenue as it now exists; together with that portion of Che~;~y
Avenue, Alder Avenue, P~rk Avenue and Willow Avenue fronting upon
said property. Situate in Kitsap County, Washington.
is in accordance with the petition herein filed, hereby annexed to the
Town of Winslow as of five days following publication of this Ors~nance
in the July 14th i~sue of the Bainbridge Review, a weekly newspaper.
PASSED by the T~ Council of the Town of Winslow, and approved by its
Mayor this 6th of July 1965.
