ORD 65-12 MINIMUM DEPOSIT FOR WATER SERVICE AN ORDINANCE A]~ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 16 RUIES AND
HEGUIATIONS, AND ESTABLISHING THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF DEPOSE
FOR THE WATER SERVICE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Winslow,
Washington, as follows:
SECTION 1: Paragraph "~ of Section 24 of the Rules and
Regulations pertaining to Ordinance No. 16 is repealed and the following
substituted therefore:
(b) All meter consumers shall make a cash deposit with the
Water Department, based upon the estimate of the monthly consumption
through the meter, but in no case shall the deposit be less than
$5.00 which deposit shall be held by the Water Department, until
the severance of the contract, and shall be repaid to the customer
after all claims against the premises have been fully paid, pro-
vided that the Superintendent of Water may waive the aforesaid
provisi~ns~provis~ng for deposits by consumers in the case of
property owners of the premises upon which the water is consumed.
