IN HOURS FOR POLICE COVERAGE AT THE FERRY TERMINAL
PARKING LOT, At{D PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT TEEOF.
~, it has been considered in the best interests of the
citizens of Winslow to extend the hours of the night police patrol,
and
WHEREAS, the Police coverage at the Ferry Terminalwas reduced
to provide the additional night patrol, and
WPEREAS, the need to reinstate the time allocated to the Fe~-Py
Terminal has been well established.

N~, THEREFORE HE IT ORDAE~EDby the Council of the Town of
Washington, as follows:
That an emergency exists.
That the Police coverage at the Ferry Terminal is hereby
one hour.
That the time and wages of the part time deputy Marshal shall
be increased one hour per day for the five days Monday through Friday.
That an offsetting amount shall be chargeable to the Parking
Meter Fund to cover this increase in wages.
That this emergency appropriation shall be retroactive to
November 4, 1965.
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Town Council and approved
