ORD 65-16 INVESTMENT OF SUMSAN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INVEST~E~T GF SUMS
FROM ~PECIF~C RESERVE FUNDS.
WhIE~, it is in the interest of the citizens of the Town
of Winslow to invest accumulated funds not required in the
imJnediate future, and
WHEREAS, certain mandatory reserve accounts have reached
amounts which should be invested.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAIN~ED by the Town Council of the
Town of Winslow, as follows:
The Town Finance Committee is hereby authorized to invest
sums as follows:
1959 Sewer Revenue Bond Heserve Fund $ 3,000.
1962 Water Revenue Bond Reserve Fund 4,000.
Investment shall be in Government Bonds as provided in
the establishment of said reserve account.
The securities purchased shall be for a period not to
exceed five (5) years.
