AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE. AMENDING THE. 1967 BUDGET, DECI.~RII~G
AN E1~RGENCY AMID A.UTHCRTZTNG THE EXI~ENDITIJRE THEREE'CR.
lf~..RFJ~S~ it is considered in the interests of the citizens of the
Town to maintain occupancy in the residence situated on the Town property
used for storage of Town equipment and supplies, and
WHERF~S, the house is in disrepair and requires renovation before
meeting reasonable living conditions, and
Wf~~EA-5, certain revenues not anticipated at the time of preparing
the budget make the expenditures possible.

That an emergency exists:.
That the sum of X550.00 from revenues not previously appropriated
is hereby authorized for use in renovating the Town owned residence
situated on Town property.
That the need and possibility for such expenditure could not;
reasonably have been foreseen at the time of making the annual estimate.
This Ordinance has i.ts first reading on the 20th day of March,
1967 with public posting and advertising immediately following and ~i.11
be considered for final passage in regular meeting the 3rd day of April,
1967. Any taxpayer may appear at the Council meeting on April 3rd'and
be heard for or against the adoption thereof.
PASSED by the Town Council of the Town of Winslowr, Washington by
~. unanimous vote and approved by its Mayor this 3rd day of April, 1967.
