AN ORDINANCE DEFINING THE HOURS. DURING WHICH ALL BUSINESSES
WITHIN THE TfANN C~' WINSLfJd~ MUST BE CLQSED EXCEPT IN CERTAIN
CASES, PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FfaR, THE VIOLtiTION THEREC~',
AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NO. 38 and N0. 75.
BE TT (~FtDAI1~D by the Town Council. of the Town of Winslow,
Washington, as follows:
SECTION l: It shall be unlawful for any person owning or'
operating any restaurant, dining room, cafe or other place where
commercial food is served to the public, or any person owning or
operating any premises for the purpose of offering to the public any
food, drink or entertainment at a profit, within the Town of Winslow,
to have or keep such premises or places open to the public between
the hours of 2:00 o~clock A.M, and 6:00 o~clock A.M. on all days of
the week, Monday through Sunday, except as such shall be necessary
''- for the protection or preservation of property or of the health,
safety, life or limb of some person.
SECTION 2's Any person found guilty of any of the acts or
offenses herein prohibited or defined shall be punished by a fine in
any sum not to exceed X300.00 or by imprisonment not exceeding 90
days, or bath such fine and imrisonment.
SECTION 3: Ordinances No. 38 and No. 75 of the Town of
Winslow are hereby repealed.
