2. (Optional provision to be included in the contract '

engineering and clerical servic ecesaary and in providing such

3. The City hereby agrees to pay to tt~e County the costs
of the work performed by the County Road Department on the actual
cost of labor, equipment rental, engineering, materials used in the
construetior~ or maintenance work involved, plus all costs for fringe
benefits to labor, .including, but not limited to, social Security,
retirement, industrial and medical aid costs, prorated sick leave,
holidays and vacation time, and group medical insurance. Ire adds-~
tiori thereto, five (5~) per cerct of the total costs s~iall be added
for over•t~ead costs for accounting and billing and administrative
services; ;provided, that the County shall submit to the City a
certified statement of the costs and within thirty (3C~) days there-
after the City shall pay t;o the: County the amount of said statement.

6. It is understood and agreed between the parties that
this contract cannot be assigned, transferred or any portion sub-
contracted hereunder by the County without the prior written per-
mission of the City.
