WHEREAS, petitionS for rezoning of certain described areas
have been filed with the Winslow Planning Commission, and
~EREAS, the Winslow Planning Commission under authority of
Ordinance No. 124 have initiated a plea for rezo~i~g of certain: described
areas, and
WPEREAS, a public hearing has been held and favorable action
taken by the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFOF~ HE IT CRDAINED by the To, n Council of the
Town of Winslow, Washington, as follows:
SECTION l: The following described property is hereby
reclassified from R 12.5 to R - S Land-Use classification:
(a) A strip of land to a depth of 150 feet on the North side
of Knechtel Way North East extending from Madison Avenue North, East to
the Highway.
(b) A strip of land to a depth of 150 feet on the East side
of }~adison Avenue North, extending from Knechtol Way North, East to the
High School Road except where it overlaps land previously classified as
an R - S ( Residential-Service Business) zone.
SECTION ~: The following described property is hereby re-
classified from R 12.~ to B - i classification:
The West one-half of the North West one-quarter of Section 26
Twp 25 North Range 2 East W.N., Kitsap County, State of Washington,
except that portion South of Knechtel Way North East and that portion
East of State Highway 305. Also excepted is that area proposed for rezoning
to R - S (Residential-Service Business) classification as described in
item 1 above. (This area is a strip situated on the West side of State
Highway 305 extending from The High School road South to Knechtel Way
North East, exdept where previously classified as B-I).
~CTION 3: The following described property is hereby re-
classified from R 12~5 to R - S classification:
The North 150 feet of the North East one-quarter of the North
East one-quarter of Section 27, Twp 25 North, Range 2 East, W.N., Kitsap
County, State of Washington except that portion currently zoned R - S
(i~esidential - Service Business). (This area is a 150 feot strip on the
South side of High School road extending from Lovell Avenue North West,
East to ]~[adison Avenue North).
SECTION 4: The following described property is hereby reclass-
fied from R 12.5 to R - 3 classification:
The North one-haLf of the North West one-quarter of the North
East one-quarter of Section 27, Twp 25 North, Range 2 East, W.M., (This
area is on The South side of the High School Road between Weaver Road and
Lovell Avenue North West).
