A~N E~EHGENCY ORDINANCE A~Et~DING THE 1968 BUDGET, DECIARINS
AN EX~F2~GENCY AND AUTHORIZ~qG T3E EXPENDITURE THEREFCR.
Y, F2LEAS, it is considered necessary to provide a small work shop
and dry storage space for tools, portable power units and emergency material
and
~EPJEAS, conversion of the barn presently existing on the Tovm
property is considered the most expedient and economical solution to
provide this need, and
~AS~P~AS, provision for this purpose was not made at the time the
1968 Budget ~as established as a building program was anticipated at that
time.
NGN, T~gREFORE BE IT OHDAINF2) by the Town Council of the Town of
Winslow, Washington, as follows:
1. That an emergency exists and is so declared.
2. That $650.00 is herewith appropriated to close in a section
of the existing shed, to wire for electrical power and provide a heating
unit.
3- That said expenditures shall be from funds not previously
appropriated.
4. That this ordinance shall have its first reading on the 18th
day of k'arch, 1968 and be considered for its final passage at the regular
Council meetinE on April l, 1968.
