ORD 68-14 CANCEL SPECIAL ELECTIONAN ORDINA~TCE of the Town of Winslow, Washington, repealing Ordinance No. 68-10 of the Town of Winslow, and cancelling the special election which had been called for June 25, 1968. WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 68-10, adopted May 6, 1968, the Council called for a special election to be held on the question of whether or not the town should issue $125,000 of its General Obligation Bonds to oav for the cost of acquiring, constructing and equlpming a new Municipal Building; and WHEREAS, it now anDears appropriate that the election should be postponed and held at a later time. TJOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained bV the Council of the Town of Winslow as follows: Section 1. The Council hereby finds and declares that the special election which had been called for the Town of Winslow to be held on June 25, 1968, on the proposition of whether or not the town should issue $125,000 of its General Obligation Bonds for the purpose of acquiring, constructing and equipping a new r~unicimal Building, should be cancelled. Section 2. Ordinance No. 68-10, adopted May 6, 1968, is hereby declared void and of no effect, and all acts taken thereunder, including the assumption of jurisdiction by~ the County Auditor of the special election called therein, are hereby declared to be void and of no effect. Section 3. The Countv Auditor is hereby requested to stoO all proceedings taken in the matter o~ the special election called by Ordinance No. 68-10 of the Town o~ Winslow and not to hold the specia election called therein. this ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council held ~ ~ay of June, l~6S.
