ORD 68-16 ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTYAN ORDINANCE of the Town of Winslow annexing
certain property to the Town of Winslow.
WHEREAS, the Town of Winslow owns certain noncontiguous
property located approximately one-half mile west of the town
limits on a part of which is located its well and a pumping
station; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council deems it advisable that said
property be annexed to and made a part of the Town of Winslow;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
Town of Winslow, Washington, as follows:
Section 1. That the real property hereinafter
described as follows:
That portion of the Southwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter, Section 27, Township 25 North,
Range 2 East, W.M., Kitsap County, Washington,
described as follows: Beginning at the West
quarter corner of said Section 27; thence, along
the West line of said Section 27, N 0003'02"
W 480.20 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence S 74049'30" E 219.64 feet; thence, S 3018'30''
E 232.30 feet; thence, S 84034'07'' W 226.13 feet to the
West line of said Section 27; thence, N 0°03'02''
W 310.81 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
Containing 1.36 acres, more or less.
be and hereby is annexed to the Town of Winslow, Washington.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately
upon its passage, approval and publication as required by la~
Section 3. The Mayor and other officers of the toWn are
hereby authorized to do and perform all acts necessary to make this
annexation effective.
