RES NO. 2017-07 UPDATE THE DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN COORDINATOR TITLERESOLUTION NO. 2017-07
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, updating the deferred compensation plan
coordinator title.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 91-18 established the City Administrator as the
program coordinator for the ICMA Retirement Corporation deferred compensation plan
for employees; and
WHEREAS, the City Administrator position was replaced with the City Manager
position in 2009; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Manager shall be the coordinator for the ICMA Retirement
Corporation deferred compensation plan (Plan); shall receive reports, notices, and other
information and documents from ICMA Retirement Corporation or VantageTrust; shall
cast, on behalf of the City (Employer), any required votes under VantageTrust; and may
delegate any administrative duties relating to the Plan to appropriate departments.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute all necessary agreements
with ICMA Retirement Corporation incidental to the administration of the Plan.
