COVE~tAGE FOP. FULL TIi~1E LAW ENFU~~CEM~i`JT PE~ZSONNEL
AT3D APPROPRIATING FUNDS THE~~EFOR.
':7~iE%'tiEAS, Section 15, Chapter 209, LaFas of 1969, 1st ex.
session sets forth employer responsibility for medical-
hospital care for full time law enforcement employees,
and
t~7~~LP,EAS, such responsibility extends to both active and
retired personnel, and
WHEREAS, it is considered proper and in the best interest
of the citizens of the CITY OF WINSLOW to cover such res-
ponsibility with available insurance.
NOI~I, THEREFOR BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the CITY OF
WINSLOW, WASHINGTON as follows:
SECTION 1 - Arrangements shall be made immediately
to obtain Medical-Surgical-Hospital insurance coverage
for full time law enforcement personnel in the employ
of the City.
SECTION 2 - That this matter could not be forseen at
the time of establishing the 1970 Budget; therefore
the sum of $700.00 is herewith appropriated for this
purpose from moneys not otherwise designated.

OF WINSL0~1, WASHINGTON, held this 1$th day of May, 1970.
