ORD 70-23 LOAN TO THE WATER FUNDORDINANCE NO. 70-23
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING LOAN TO THE WATER FUND TO
MEET EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES.
WHEREAS, the water department was called upon to
meet emergency expenditures to care for the health
and welfare of the citizens of the City of Winslow,
and
WHEREAS, such emergency expenditures have been indi-
vidually considered and approved by the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the
City of Winslow, Washington as follows:
That the sum of $2,000.00 be transferred
from the Sewer Fund to the Water Fund.
That such transfer be made as a loan
subject to repayment.
That the period of the loan be for one year.
That the loan shall be repaid with interest
at the rate of 5%.
ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Winslow, Washing-
ton, and approved by its Mayor, this 18th day of Jan-
uary, 1971.
