AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
AND AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, it is ~. re~Lsponsibility of the City Council that
adequate and proper liability and fire insurance 3~ provided
for the City operations and capital investments, and
WHEREAS, bids for such insurance coverage were called by
advertisement, posting and individual notification, and
WHEREAS, such bids were publicly opened, ev'~luated and
presented to the Council, and
WHEREAS, the Council made award to the low bidder by
unanimous vote.
NOW THEREFORE be it ~._'dained by the Council of the City
of Winslow as follows:
That the 1971 Budget is hereby amended to provide for
the increase in the cost of general liability insurance for
the City.
THAT the sum of $1,300.00 is hereby appropriated to the
Current Expense Fund, General Government Services, sub item
Insurance to provide for this emergency.
THAT such increase for insurance coverage was not anti-
cipated at the time of adopting the 1971 Budget.
