ORD 71-10 MUNICIPAL ELECTIONSORDINANCE NO. 71-10
AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS,
DECLARING THE FILING OF DECLARATION AND
AFFIDAVIT OF CANDIDACY AS THE METHOD OF NOMIN-
ATING CANDIDATES FOR THE ELECTIVE MUNICIPAL
OFFICES.
BE IT ORDAINED the Council of the City of Winslow,
Washing'ton as follows:
SECTION I. That an election to fill the following
listed expiring terms of elective officials of the City
of Winslow will be held as provided by State of Washington
statute on Tuesday, November 2nd, 1971.

SECTION II. That said election shall be conducted
by the Kitsap County Auditor as ex officio County Supervisor
of elections.
SECTION III. Said election shall be held at the City
Hall in Winslow, Washington, or at such location as may be
designated and published by the Auditor of Kitsap County.
SECTION IV. Declaration and affidavit of candidacy
shall be filed with the City Clerk between the date of
September 3rd and September 17th inclusive, 1971 for the
municipal election to be held on November 2, 1971.
SECTION V. The laws of the State of Washington shall
govern in all cases wherein this ordinance has not provided.
PASSED by the Council of the City of Winslow,
Washington and approved by its Mayor this 2nd day of
August, 1971.
