ORD 72-01 NO PARKINGORDINANCE NO. 72-1
AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 127 to
define the traffic term "No Parking."
Whereas, it is considered in the interest of the citizens of
Winslow to clearly define regulations affecting the safety of the
pedestrian, and
Whereas, it is specifically fitting to clarify the definition
of the Term "No Parking" as it appears in Ordinance No. 127.
Now Therefore, be it ordained by the Council of the City of
Winslow, Washington as follows:
Section 3 and 5 of Ordinance No. 127 are hereby rescinded
and the following are substituted therefore:
Section 3. No parking at any time shall be permitted on
the following streets and locations of the City of Winslow:
(a) Winslow Way East from State Highway 21A EAST to
Eagle Street;
(b) Ferncliff Ave. N. E. from the intersection to
Ferncliff Ave. and Winslow Way N. E. NORTH to
the City limits;
(c)Any sidewalk, pedestrian walkway or pedestrian
right-of -way.
Section 5. For purposes of this ordinance a vehicle including
a trailer attached thereto shall be deemed "parked" on a street
if any part of said vehicle is on or over the surfaced portion of
the street.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Winslow, Washington, this
