ORD 72-15 AMENDMENT TO ZONING CODEORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE
NO. 69-16, KNOWN AS THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY
OF WINSLOW.
WHEREAS, the council has under authority of Section Nos. 35A.14.120
et seq of the Revised Code of Washington passed Ordinance No'.~'2-
annexing to the City of Winslow certain land there described;
WHEREAS, the council held a public hearing to determine the zone
classification for this property subject of annexation;
WHEREAS, the council has made a determination of what zone
classification will promote and best serve the public health,
safety, morals and general welfare; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of
Winslow as found' in Ordinance No. 69-16 is amended to include
land annexed to the City of Winslow by Ordinance No'.7'.zTlh, and
described as follows:
Those portions of Section 27, Twp. 25, North
Range 2 East W.M., described as follows:
All of Government Lot 1 and Tide Lands fronting.
All of the northeast one quarter of the south-
west one quarter, EXCEPT the north 1020 feet
of the east 13 rods, and EXCEPT that portion
on the north boundary lying within the right-
of-way of the County Road, Wyatt Way, N.W.
That portion of Tract 1 and Tract 42 of the
Plat of H. A. Stetson's 5 Acre Tracts, as
recorded in Volume III, page 26, Plat records
of Kitsap County, lying southerly and easterly
of the following described line: Beginning
at a point on the easterly line of Tract 1,
of said Plat of Stetson's S Acre Tracts, which
bears S l°02'51'' W a distance of 120 feet from
the northeast corner of said Tract 1; thence
N 87°58 '43'' W on a line parallel with the
north line of said tract 1 for a distance of
100 feet; thence S l°02'51'' W on a line
parallel with the east line of said Tract 1
for a distance of 260 feet; thence S 65°281'07''
W to the center line of an existing creek;
thence southeasterly along said center line
to the east line of Tract 42 and the terminus
of said line.

Section 2. Land described in Section 1 above shall
have a zone ~l'aSsification of RS-10,000, which meaning shall
be as stated in Ordinance 6946 and any amendments thereto.
Section 3. The Clerk of the City of Winslow is directed
to amend c0ns~Stent' with this Ordinance the Official Zoning Map
of the City of Winslow and to send a certified copy of both this
ordinance and the Official Zoning Map to the Kitsap County
Recorder.
