ORD 72-18 TAX LEVY FOR 1973 BUDGETORDINANCE NO. 72 - 18
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE TAX LEVY FOR THE
1973 BUDGET AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 72-16
WHEREAS, a budget for the City of Winslow is
presently being compiled, and
WHEREAS, operating expenitures of past years,
together with known requirements for Bond Redemption,
interest charges and approved special levies establish
the budget requirements for the coming year.
WHEREAS, Oridinance No. 72 - 16 establishing the
1973 Tax Levy contained a mathematical error,
NOW therefore, be it ordained by the Council of
the City of Winslow, Washington as follows:
THAT Ordinance No. 72 - 16 is hereby repealed.
THAT the tax levy for the year 1973 for the City
of Winslow, Washington is hereby established as follows:
Based on assessed valuation at 50% of estimated
market valuation.
REGULAR TAX LEVY 7.5 Mills - $81,221
EXCESS TAX LEVY 1.0 Mills - 10,829
8.5 Mills
