ORD 72-23 EMERGENCY ORDINANCEORDINANCE NO. 72 - 23
An Emergency Ordinance Declaring anTM Emergency
and Authorizing Expenditures Arrising Therefor.
WHEREAS, the pumps at the Wing Point North sewage lift station
had created emergencies and costs beyond the point of reasonable operating
costs, and
WHEREAS, such expenditures could not reasonably have been anti-
cipated, and
WHEREAS, it was considered in the best interests of dependable
operation to replace the two pumps at this lift station with new, three
phase equipment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Winslow, Washington as follows:
1. That an undebatable emergency exists.
2. That an emergency appropriation in excess of the 1972 budget
is herewith authorized in the sum of $2,000. for equipment purchase and
$500. for unanticipated labor costs.
3- That payment of these items is hereby authorized.
4. That this appropriation shall be from unexpended funds and
increased revenue.
