ORD 73-15 PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEMORDINANCE NO. 73-15
AN ORDINANCE, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE
PARTICIPATION IN THE WASHINGTON PUBLIC EMPLOYEES'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM BY EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
WINSLOW, WINSLOW, WASHINGTON AND PROVIDING FOR
NOTIFICATION TO THE RETIREMENT BOARD OF THE
SAID SYSTEM.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WINSLOW AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council does authorize
and approve the membership and participation of its
eligible employees in the Washington Public Employees'
Retirement System pursuant to RCW41.40.410, and
authorizes the expenditure of the necessary funds to
cover its proportionate share for participation in
said System.
Section 2. That the Clerk, Norma Sue Frix be
and she is, hereby directed to transmit a certified
copy of this Ordinance to the Retirement Board of the
said System as evidence of such authorization and
approval.
Section 3. Participa~toion membership in the
Washington Public Employees' Retirement System shall
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Council and
