AN ORDINANCE DELINEATING CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR
ELECTIVE AND CERTAIN APPOINTIVE OFFICERS AND REPEALIN~
ORDINANCE #70-1.
BE !T ORDA1NED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW,
ICASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: MAYOR AND COUNCIL: The City of Winslow
having been duly established and recorded with the Secretary
of State of the State of Washington as a noncharter code
city with Mayor-Council form of government, the elective
officers shall consist of a Mayor and five (5) Council-
members, each of whom shall have been a registered voter
and resident of the City for a period of at least one year
preceding their election,
SECTION 2: PI, AN~ING COMMISSION AND BOARD OF ADJUSTMENt:
The members of the Planning Commission and of the Board of
Adjustment and Appeals shall hold appointive positions,
and each appointee shall be a registered voter and resident
of the City.
SECTION 3: OATH: The elected and appointed officers
en'L,merated herein shall before entering upon the performance
of their duties take and execute an oath for the faithful
performance of the duties of the office to which elected
or appointed.
SEC'fION 4: REPEALER: Ordinance #70-1 and all other
ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
SEC'FION 5: EFFEC'rIVE D~FE: This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect on and after its approval and publi-
cation as required by law.
PASSED by the Council o~ the City of Winslow, and
