ORD 74-19 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTSORDINANCE NO. 74-19
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW RELATING TO CRIMES
AND PUNISHMENTS AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 74-4 BY ADDING
A NEW SECTION THERETO AND REPEALING ORDImANCE NO. 74-18
IN ITS ENTIRETY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 74-4 is hereby deem-
ed amended to add the following subsection:
(e) Within 200 feet of any occupied residence to
perform any noisy construction or maintenance work between
the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. on weekdays and Sat-
urdays and the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Sundays
and Holidays which work disturbs the peace and quiet of the
occupants of such residence or residences. It shall not be
a violation of this provision unless the person shall have
first been warned by the City or neighboring resident to
cease such conduct.
Section 2. Ordinance No. 74-18 is hereby repealed in its
entirety.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect five (5)
days after adoption and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the Council of the City of Winslow and approved
