AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed, bearing the signatures of
all abutting property owners, to vacate the existing alley, situ-
ated approximately 470 feet west of Lovell Ave. S.W. and extending
south from Winslow Way W. for approximately 200 feet, and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to vacate an alleyway
was given pursuant to RCW 35.79.020, and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered the matter and held a
public hearing on the aforesaid petition on May 19, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Winslow,
Washington do ordain as follows:
The following described property, presently used as a public
alley, is declared vacated and as prescribed by Washington State
law, the property within the limits so vacated shall ~elong to the
abutting property owners.
A portion of Gov't Lot 3 Section 27, Township 25 North,
Range 2 East, W.M.
All that portion of a 10 foot roadway delineated on the face
of the Plat of Gidners Garden Tracts, according to plat recorded
in volume 3 of Plats page 36; lying east of tracts 1, 5, and 6 in
said plat and south of the north line of said tract 1 extended
east; EXCEPT the north 5 feet thereof.
PASSED by the Council of the City of Winslow, and approved
by its Mayor this 2nd day of June, 1975.
