ORD 76-09 PERMIT TO AMCOORDINANCE NO. 76-9
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AUTHORIZING
ISSUANCE OF A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT PERMIT TO
AMCO INVESTORS, INC. PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO.
69-16 WHICH PERMIT CONSTITUTES AN AMENDMENT TO
THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF WINSLOW FOR THAT PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWNAS THE
"AMCO PROPERTY".
WHEREAS, AMCO Investors, Inc. has filed with the City of
Winslow an application for proposed planned unit development pur-
suant to Ordinance 69-16; and
WHEREAS, the Winslow Planning Commission held public hearings
on said application on September 25, 1975 and October 9, 1975, and
at a regular Winslow Planning Commission meeting held on October 16,
1975 voted to recommend to the City Council approval of the planned
unit development and the environmental design standards; and
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1975 the Winslow City Council held a
further public hearing to consider the recommendations from the
Planning Commission and that following said public hearing the City
Council voted to approve said planned unit development application;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Winslow do
ordain as follows:
1. That the Amco planned unit development application as
modified more particularly in the formal permit to be issued be and
hereby is approved and the City Engineer is authorized to issue a
permit for development of the planned unit development.
2. That issuance of said permit is conditioned upon meeting
all of the requirements as set forth therein and that the City
Engineer is authorized to revoke said planned unit development
permit in the event of noncompliance with any of the requirements
set forth therein.
3. The comprehensive plan and zoning map of the City of
Winslow be and hereby is deemed amended to reflect that the
"Amco property", the legal description of which is on file with
the City Engineer, is designated as a planned unit development

area for development in conformity with the planned unit development
permit to be issued by the City of Winslow.
