ORD 78-03 DAYCARE CONSTRUCTION FUNDORDINANCE NO. 78-S
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, CREATING
A FUND TO BE KNOWN AS THE DAY CARE CONSTRUCTION FUND AND
PROVIDING FOR RECEIPT OF REVENUES FROM STATE REFERENDUM 29
GRANT FUNDS AND MATCHING FUNDS FROM LOCAL AGENCIES SUPPORTING
THE DAY CARE CONSTRUCTION AND APPROPRIATING SUCH MONIES TO
THE CONSTRUCTION AND AMENDING THE 1978 CITY BUDGET TO PROVIDE
THEREFORE.
WHEREAS, the City of Winslow has applied for referendum 29 State
Grant Funds as sponsor for the Bainbridge Day Care Center and
received notice of preliminary approval of the grant application
and
WHEREAS, the property on which the facility will be constructed
has been deeded to the City of Winslow;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
There is hereby created and established in the office of the City
Clerk Treasurer a fund to be known as the Day Care Construction
Fund, which will receive and expend monies for the purpose of
financing the Day Care facility construction project.
Ordinance 77-28 which established the 1978 budget for the City
of Winslow is hereby amended to include anticipated revenue from
Referendum 29 funds in the amount of $47,500 and matching funds
from the Day Care Center in the amount of $16,860.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Winslow on this
day of February, 1978.
